In 1987 we went down the Wall Street Trail and back up the Queens Garden Trail. The Wall Street Trail has many switch backs which drop you down between two vertical walls. Unfortunately, there was a rockfall last year, which closed the trail. It is still being cleared and the walls made safe again.

So Mom and I decided to go down and back up the Queens Garden Trail. It was a warm day, around 97 degrees and the threat of rain off in the distance.

The view is wonderful on both sides of the trail.

There are many switchbacks.

Here are 6 switchbacks.
At the top of the picture you can see the trail straighten out,
but keeps going DOWN.
I told Mom that there was an elevator at the bottom!
