This our 3rd time to visit Glacier National Park. We have eaten in the Many Glacier Lodge twice. This park is fortunate to have three “Great Lodges” but only the Many Glacier Lodge is near the Saint Mary’s entrance.

For Mom’s birthday are eating at the other two. Boy do I make out!
They always have great food, service, and atmosphere.

The Glacier Park Lodge. Built in 1912.
Viewed from the train station.
The Lodge has two large buildings and a smaller chalet out back.

One of the convertable, circa 1936 Red Buses parked outside the lodge.
This building has rooms on floors 2 and 3, and common rooms
(lounges, fine dining restaurant, snack bar, gift shops….) on the first floor.

Four floors of rooms in this building.
Notice the pitch and putt course in front.
There is also a full size 9 hole golf course on the grounds.

I watched this foursome and they lost two balls in the flower garden.
Most of the time they swung and missed the ball then would laugh.

Looking back at the train station. The rain storm is coming.
It poured while we ate and then almost stopped while I got the car.
The tables were set up for a wedding which was held yesterday.

The view from the steps of the lodge.

The chalet and pool. As viewed from the lounge balcony.

The "Tall Pines" lobby.
The white pine pillars are 40 feet tall and 40" in diameter.
