We are still on the Grand Wash trail to the Narrows.
Today we are lucky. It is mainly overcast. But it is still very dry. |
Most parts of the trail are in the riverbed. Here it is like walking on compacted sand. |
This part of the riverbed is harder to walk on.
The trail makes a left turn just after this balancing rock.
The Narrows starts here and goes back about a quarter mile.
When your tired you just have to find a seat to rest on.
It is even better when you find a rock with foot and arm rests. |
How about a love seat.
We are back at the trail head. Mom needed one more drink of water
before getting into the hot car.
