Our past hikes in the park were through gorges with very high walls. Now we decided to hike in the open country. These are two short, but interesting, trails which you still have to drive to on maintained roads.

The trailhead parking lot for the Goosenecks Overlook trail and Sunset Point trail. Mom decide to go back for the walking sticks while I went ahead to see how moderate the trail is.

Watching the setting sun light up the walls to the east. The fellow comming toward Mom is from NJ and his father is from India. He is taking his father around the great circle of National Parks. We talked to them while watching the setting sun.
