Acadia National Park is one of our favorites. Because we were passing so close to it on the way to New Brunswick, we felt we could not pass it. It's our fourth visit. We forgot both of our Golden Age Passports again! So we decided to save money and not to drive on the loop road. Our Passport would have allowed us unlimited entrance to that part of the national park. I guess we need a check list of things to put in the motorhome before a trip! So we missed Sand Beach, Thunder Hole, and the rocky Otter Cliffs. Those are all sights and sounds we wish you all can see.

Taking in the view on Cadillac Mountain. That's Bar Harbor and Frenchmen's Bay behind us. Cadillac Mountain is listed as the highest on the east coast, and the first US land to be touched by the rising sun. Hiking down the trail in the wind on top of the mountian. This seems to be our restaurant of choice every time. Waiting to order our meal. Great view of the park and people watching! Back to the Canadian Maritimes Directory
