Peggy's Cove is very scenic and many calendars have pictures from it's lighthouse to various fishing and shoreline pictures.

It is a very small village and contains no commercial businesses except for a few Gift shops which contain mostly locally produced items.

This memorial is just outside the village of Peggy's Cove. It is dedicated to those who lost their lives in the Swiss Air 111 accident.
When you stand behind the monument and look through one of the three slots you are looking at the point on the horizon where the plane crashed into the ocean.

Life size carving dedicated to the local fishermen and lobstermen.

Lobster season is over and the fleet is in port.
This scene is something you would find on a puzzle!

The lighthouse at Peggy's Cove.
It is fully automatic now, so they installed a Post Office in it.

Another view of the lighthouse.
Mom is sitting up on the rocks.

That is about 25% of the village in the background.

Another nice scene of the boats waiting for lobster season to start.

In the off season, the traps are repaired and the floats are repainted.
